    Stormtrooper Tee

    Stormtrooper cover

The current F&F advert for Tesco clothing sums up how I came to own this wonderfully grown up Stormtrooper T shirt. I was quite happily doing my weekly shop many moons ago (before I discovered the joys of Ocado) when I stumbled upon this bright red tee in the kid’s section. It’s age 10-11, which always makes me feel a bit good. It’s ok to feel good about fitting into children’s clothes right? Or maybe it’s just the most ridiculous level of vanity sizing. Anyway, I went in to the supermarket to get food and came out with a cool kid’s t shirt, and I’m very happy about it.

    Another pleated midi skirt

Since I started blogging, there’s one store that kept popping up on my radar, and it was called & Other Stories. So many of my favourite bloggers would keep linking items from the high street store that looked great. I had a look on their website, but I really wanted to be able to try things on t get an idea of fit. I also only very recently discovered that they are in fact the sister store to H&M, which is one of my favourite budget high street shops. I’m sure you all already know, but a quick look into the history of the H&M informed me that Cos, Weekday, Monki and more are all part of the brand’s family. Every day’s a school day.

    Double Velvet

    Double Velvet cover

This luscious green velvet skirt has appeared on the blog a couple of times before. I’ve mentioned that it’s a little too big, and I usually style it by folding the waistband and tucking it into a thick waist belt. Here I’ve gone for a more relaxed option, wearing it without a belt and layering a simple sweater over the top.

Spring velvet and Leopard Faux Fur

Today is officially the first day of spring, huzzah! Sadly it’s pretty grey and miserable outside at the moment, so I’ll share this outfit from last week when the sun was shining. I first posted about this skirt a couple of months ago. I can’t believe I’ve not worn it since!
