This is the third outing of this sleeveless grey coat on the blog, and I’m sure it won’t be the last! It’s the first time I’ve managed to pair it with items that aren’t maroon, which is a minor achievement in itself. That being said, I’ve shunned colours completely and gone for a grey and black palette for a dreary spring day. Continue reading “Grey on Grey – The return of the sleeveless Jacket”
I’m genuinely not sure what was going through my head when I selected this outfit, but I actually really like it. I think the random combination is just on the border of my comfort zone, and lately I’ve been quite pleased with those slightly-more-eccentric outfit choices. The colour palette is still quite simple, which helps keep some level of cohesion. Each aspect of the outfit is quite simple too, it’s together that they’re a bit more bizarre! I’d forgotten how much I like this butterfly print dress I picked up last summer. I remember being undecided about which size to get, being a bit in between sizes when I tried it on. I eventually went for the smaller of the two, and I’m really glad I did. After bursting out of another dress last week, I’ve been feeling a bit low in terms of my size, health and fitness in general. My default throughout the winter months has been a chunky, cosy knit and simple separates. I’ve gone for this tried and tested combo here, with an old roll neck jumper I acquired from a previous house share, trusty black skinnies and an age old wool coat. Continue reading “Cosy Knit and Black”
Just a quick post today, with a casual black hoodie and boots, neutral jeans and coat to get through a busy hump day at work. These black suede over-the-knee boots were a recent sale purchase from ASOS, and I’m wearing them today over some pale M&S jeggings. Continue reading “Casual Neutrals”
Over-The-Knee boots are all over the place at the moment, and I’ve wanted a pair for ages, but not wanted to shell out hundreds of pounds for a trend that I wasn’t sure would suit me, or be particularly easy to wear. When I saw this suedette pair in New Look on sale for just £20, I couldn’t resist snapping them up! Burgundy is one of my favourite colours for clothing and accessories so adding more to my wardrobe is a no – brainer.
