Festival season is probably my favourite time of the year. Watching bands, hanging out with friends, soaking up the great outdoors – it’s my happy place. Every year though, there are plenty of “festival lookbooks” which are just not practical. If you’re going to be trying to get in and out of a portaloo as quickly as possible, then a pretty but fiddly button-through playsuit is not the one. Open toed sandals and wedges are lovely, but if you’re at one of the bigger festivals and walking 20,000+ steps a day over uneven ground, you’re just going to suffer. So here are 3 looks I would wear to any festival, which allow for movement, sitting on grass and coping with the multitude of weather conditions a British summer will inevitably throw at us.
