Helloooo! Welcome to my first diary style installment of things I did this week. I’m not really sure how these are going to pan out, but in the true style of giving it a go I’m just going to write and see what happens! So, without further ado, here are some things I did this past week: Continue reading “Things from the week – 13.08.17”
Welcome to the first of my new themed Friday posts. Each week, I’ll share a few of the things I’ve been thinking about, lusting after and generally enjoying each week. Sometimes I’m inspired by bloggers, sometimes my friends. Sometimes I see something whilst I’m out and about, and sometimes something pops into my head for no apparent reason! Anyway, I thought it would be nice to share some nice things to finish off the week. Without further ado, let’s begin!
I had all these big plans to get my blog up to date by the end of July and write up a big announcement about some changes I was going to make. What actually happened, was that I planned all these exciting changes and never got round to publishing them. So I’m writing this retrospectively, which doesn’t make a lot of sense. However, I’m a stickler for a plan and too stubborn to give up on one, so here goes. It’s a bit of a wordy one, so please bear with me! The current F&F advert for Tesco clothing sums up how I came to own this wonderfully grown up Stormtrooper T shirt. I was quite happily doing my weekly shop many moons ago (before I discovered the joys of Ocado) when I stumbled upon this bright red tee in the kid’s section. It’s age 10-11, which always makes me feel a bit good. It’s ok to feel good about fitting into children’s clothes right? Or maybe it’s just the most ridiculous level of vanity sizing. Anyway, I went in to the supermarket to get food and came out with a cool kid’s t shirt, and I’m very happy about it. Continue reading “Stormtrooper Tee”
It wasn’t until I was listing the items in this outfit for this post that I realised I’m almost decked out head to toe in items from Collectif. I bought this skirt recently on a chilled visit to Spitalfields market. I love the ease of shopping online, but sometimes it’s nice to actually go into a store and try a piece on. My intention was only to browse, but this skirt was in the sale and I just couldn’t resist! I love the pale green colour, and it has pockets! The stiff cotton is comfy and practical, and it’s a flattering length, sitting just below the knee. Long enough to be smart, short enough to still be summery!
